Whether you’re figuring out your way around the city or wondering when to hit up the bar for one last round, we’ve got it all right here, laid out nice and easy.

Us & our neighbourhood
Located in the historical centre of Florence in a late-Renaissance palazzo, The Hoxton is surrounded by cobblestone streets filled with galleries, boutique and bakeries. Florence’s world-famous landmarks such as the Duomo and Uffizi Gallery are within walking distance, and Fortezza da Basso, the home of Pitti Uomo, is a short 10-minute stroll away. The Hoxton, Florence will have 161 bedrooms including a 3-bedroom house, spacious lobby-bar, an Italian Riviera-inspired restaurant, sprawling courtyard, cosy late night wine bar, and dedicated event spaces including The Roof and La Riserva.

Here’s the deal: we’ve got a daily breakfast bag that includes juice, fruit, and a morning treat, all delivered right to your room for just €5 per person. Easy as pie – just take the bag, hang it on the hook outside your door, and voilà! Your morning pick-me-up will be waiting for you, ready to kickstart your day on the right note. Enoteca Violetta, a cosy wine bar will offer an exciting collection of European wines in a relaxed and informal setting. Oh, we got some bites too if you’re thinking about a glass of natural wine for Aperitivo – we got you!
Hox Shop
Pop in our Hox Shop in the lobby where you can buy snacks and drinks at supermarket prices; Blank body products; or something from our Best Of collection, with limited-edition items by our favourite Florence makers.
Rip-Off-Free Fridge
No nasty bills at check-out here, we give you a rip-off-free mini-fridge stocked with fresh milk and water. What’s more, you can fill your fridge with savoury and sweet snacks from our Hox Shop at supermarket prices.
Need A Lie In?
Get out of bed you sleepy head With Flexy Time, you can choose your own check-in time for free when you book directly on our website up to 72 hours before arrival. Otherwise, standard check-in is at 2pm.
Please note: for certain room categories, this option is available only upon request.
Need a lie-in?
No problem, just let us know and you can stay for the bargain price for €10 an hour, up to 4pm (availability dependent). Of course, if you booked directly, you can check-out whenever you please with Flexy Time!
Tiny Hox
Got little’uns in tow?
Tiny Hox has you covered. Whether you’re joining us with infants, toddlers or kids that are slightly older, we’ve put together all the essentials to see you through. Most of our rooms fit cribs. If you need one free of charge, just dial 5555 to speak with our Reception team and we’ll get it sorted for you.
All Tiny Hox stays come with a Free Little’uns Breakfast Bag for those extra early starts to the day, packed with yougurt, banana, and a juice and a Hox coloring book and pencils.
On request: diaper, wipes, a place to store milk (freezer) bottle warmer and diaper pails.
Hox Hounds
We love our four-legged guests as much as our two-legged ones, so our human perks come in canine form too! Read on for all the deets about staying at The Hox with your dog. Enter Hox Hounds!
As standard, Hox will provide the bits and bobs you need to travel with your best furry friend and help save on luggage space. No need to lug around a dog bed, bowls, treats and waste bags – we’ve got you covered. You’ll have all the best dog-friendly spots in the neighbourhood listed in our map and in the Mutt Manual you’ll receive in your room – we don’t have these, as well as a sweet set of stickers and a Hox Hound dog tag to make official!
Hox accepts one dog per room (up to 40lb) and there’s no extra cost (unless they’re a rockstar and trash the room, of course).

Quick Tips
We’re just a short taxi ride from Santa Maria Novella station, if you’re travelling by train or you can hop on the 17 bus, jumping off at the bus stop XXVII Aprile San Zanobi. Otherwise, if landing (or departing) from Florence Airport you can jump on the tram T2 which takes you to the city centre (or to the airport) in only 20 min. Ready to explore the fascinating city centre? We’re just 20 min walk from Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral and Piazza della Signoria with the stunning Palazzo Vecchio, where the proud David stands but remember, that’s just a replica – the OG is in the Accademia Gallery so make sure you pop in!
Ask Reception to assist you with a local Taxi – we don’t have Uber or Lift in Florence so your best shot is to catch local Taxi (0554242 or 0554390)
Unless otherwise asked bed linens are changed every 3 days during a stay, and towels are replaced only if on the floor. Doing what we can (one towel, or sheet) at a time.
Housekeeping is currently on request, so you know who has been in your room, and when.
It goes without saying, WiFi is free for all guests at The Hox. And if you’d like to make a good ol’ fashioned landline call, your first hour is free per day to pretty much anywhere except the moon.

For the Gym Bunny there are plenty of great gyms and cool studios around us. Hit up Reception to get discounted day passes to our favourites including Yoga Garage for your Vinyasa fix, or Anytime Fitness if you prefer a classic work out!
Or, why not grab your trainers and head up to Lungarno for a run with a view of Ponte Vecchio and the Arno river?
There are a few Hox Bikes available for you to use for free during your stay. Just ask at Reception and they’ll give you the lowdown.
If you’re in a rush, fill out your details on the key card and pop it in the post box in the lobby and we will email you a copy of your bill before you get home.
