Us and our neighbourhood

The Hoxton, Edinburgh is opening its doors in the laid-back Haymarket district – a beautiful and relaxed ‘hood in easy reach of the city’s main draws, including Princes Street, Edinburgh Castle, Royal Mile and the West End. – all waiting to be explored in nearby William Street, eclectic Stockbridge or shoreside Leith, just a tram ride away.

This area’s captivating fusion of old-world charm and contemporary vitality, where history and modernity coexist effortlessly, creates a magnetic pull for both locals and those passing through. The Georgian buildings, indy boutiques, record shops, delis, galleries and tap houses make this central area a place to explore. Within only a few minutes’ walk, you can reach the bustling Princes Street with a gorgeous view of Edinburgh’s Castle, or you can stroll to Stockbridge with its bougie shops, independent bars, and a very popular Sunday Market. Hop on the tram to explore even further or take a nice walk along the Water of Leith and check out the most multicultural part of town, complete with loads of pubs and cocktail bars for your night of fun that you won’t forget – or you might, depending on how many whiskeys you drink.
